Augustana Choir tour to make Hastings stop
Members of the Augustana Choir are preparing for a brief performance tour of the Midwest during spring break, including a stop in Hastings.
The focus of the 2019 tour will be "Masterworks of the Sacred European Tradition." The choir is preparing pieces by Bach, Mendelssohn, Grieg and Vivaldi, with a set of contemporary pieces as well.
Under the direction of guest conductor Steve Grives, the choir will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at St. Philip's Lutheran Church in Hastings.
All concerts are free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be accepted.
