Rosemount will hold its Memorial Day ceremony at 9 a.m. Monday in Central Park.
Memorial Day ceremonies start Sunday

Farmington and Rosemount will hold Memorial Day ceremonies this weekend. There will be ceremonies at noon Sunday at Farmington Lutheran Cemetery and at 2 p.m. at Castle Rock Valley Cemetery. On Monday, Rosemount’s ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. at Central Park and Farmington’s will begin at 10 a.m. at Corinthian Cemetery.

Rosemount’s own Sawtooth Brothers will return to the Steeple Center stage Thursday, March 10. The band released its first album of all original songs in February.
Bluegrass band comes home

One of the ships the Rosemount Area Historical Society will discuss is the Benjamin Noble, an overloaded vessel that was lost with all hands during a storm in April of 1914. In 1987 the publisher of Lake Superior Magazine offered a $1,000 reward to anyone who could locate the wreck. It was finally discovered in 2004 about 10 miles offshore from Two Harbors.
