The DNR east metro fisheries crew met a truck from the state hatchery in Lanesboro to transfer 2,000 trout in the Vermillion River. Another 2,300 yearling rainbow trout are planned for stocking downstream later this spring after the frost is out. Kara Hildreth / Contributor
