RHS grad Zach Vraa helps North Dakota State capture national title

Rosemount graduate Zach Vraa did his part in helping the North Dakota State University football team bring home its third straight FCS national title Saturday in Frisco, Texas.

Vraa caught three passes for 51 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown that added to his school single-season record total and gave the Bison a 21-7 lead over Towson just before halftime.

The Bison cruised to a 35-7 victory and finished the season with a record of 15-0.

Vraa finished the season with a team-high 67 receptions and 1,191 yards, for an average of 17.8 yards per catch, and 15 touchdowns.
