Sunday matinee of Into the Woods is on at RHS

The baker and his wife, played by Kyle Weiler and Shelby Cooper, provide the story that ties together a number of familiar Grimm?s Fairy Tales in the Rosemount High School production of Into the Woods.

Heavy snow forced the cancelation of Saturday night's show of Into the Woods at Rosemount High School, but the performers bounced back quickly. Sunday's matinee show is on as scheduled at 2 p.m.

Tickets for Saturday's show will be good today. There will also be a make-up for Saturday's show on Dec. 17. More information on that show will be available soon, as will information about ticket refunds.

RHS principal John Wollersheim announced the decision to cancel Saturday's show on the school's web page. He said the showing of Into the Woods was canceled because forecasts now suggest the heavy snow that has fallen in the Twin Cities will last longer than originally expected. Other District 196 schools have also canceled showings of their theater productions tonight.

Anyone who has bought tickets for tonight's show and cannot attend on Dec. 17 can get a refund. Details on that process will be on the school's web page early next week.
