Opinion: What makes a good administrator?

Next Thursday the Rosemount City Council will ask residents what qualities they value in a city administrator. We're going to take our chance now to provide our input.

It's hard to argue with the spirit behind efforts by a group of Rosemount High School students to snuff out smoking in city parks. Smoking is bad for your health. Nobody can dispute that. And when smokers leave their cigarette butts lying around it creates an unsightly mess.

Editorial: Results of referendum vote are disappointing

Rosemount residents had a choice to make Tuesday, and it appears voters sided squarely with their pocketbooks. By a vote of 1981 to 877, voters defeated the bond referendum put forward by the city.
