U of M hosts meeting on remedial investigation of UMORE Park
In conjunction with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, the University of Minnesota is hosting a public meeting to inform citizens about the results of the 2016 remedial investigation conducted at the site.
The meeting will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, at the Rosemount Community Center, 13885 S. Robert Trail.
The 2016 investigation was the latest and final phase of the remedial investigation, which was conducted to provide the university and state and local regulators a more comprehensive understanding of the environmental condition of the property, including impacts associated with the construction, operation and demolition of the former GOW, and subsequent University research and tenant activities.
Copies of the remedial investigation report are available for review between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Information Repository established at the UMore Lease Office, 15325 Babcock Ave, Rosemount. Documents can be viewed online at www.umorepark.umn.edu.
