City wants help with economic development
The City of Rosemount is asking for a helping hand from its citizens and business owners on the subject of economic development. They are invited to a special meeting on Tuesday, April 19, to discuss current and potential initiatives to create more jobs in the community.
Networking is considered a key tool to encourage economic development. Rosemount residents and other stakeholders may have ideas or contacts that can bring more businesses to the community. The City is trying to explore ways to share this knowledge to benefit the community overall.
The discussion will take place during a special meeting of the Rosemount Port Authority, the group that guides economic development policies for the City. Members of the City Council and Planning Commission are also expected to attend.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Council chambers at Rosemount City Hall, 2875 145th Street West. It is expected to end around 7 p.m.
