Know your polling places for Nov. 5 ISD 196 election

Residents in the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan School District have a couple of choices to make on Election Day next week. There are three school board seats up for election and four candidates seeking voters’ support.

There is also a levy question that would replace an existing operating levy with a new one that would collect $1,485 per student. The change would mean an additional $10 million per year for the district. It would cost the owner of an average-value home in the district about $56 per year.

The new levy question could also be adjusted each year to account for inflation.
