Waggin’ Tales

Kids can read to certified therapy dogs at 10:30 a.m. July 5 at the Robert Trail Library. Reading to dogs isn’t only fun but it develops reading skills and fluency. Open to children ages 5 to 10.

Trees, Trees, Trees

Learn about trees from The Story Man from England at 10:30 a.m. July 8 in the Robert Trail Library meeting room. This is a Minnesota Legacy program.

History book group

The Robert Trail Library History Book Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. July 8 in the library. The group will discuss The Bully Pulpit by Doris Kearns Goodwin. The group is free and open to anyone interested in history.

Baby storytime

The Robert Trail Library will host a storytime babies at 10:30 a.m. July 9 in the meeting room. Stories, songs, bounces and playtime make this perfect for children newborn to 24 months and their caregivers.

Resume rescue

The Robert Trail Library will host a workshop on creating an effective resume at 2 p.m. July 11 in the meeting room. Staff from the Dakota County WorkForce Center will lead the seminar that will include information on formatting, styles, common mistakes, do and don’ts and more.

Magic: The Gathering Booster Draft

Teens can play Magic at 2:30 p.m. July 11 at the Robert Trail Library. Pods of four will draft cards and play two rounds of Swiss draw. Cards and snacks provided. Registration required. Call 651-480-1200.
