Rosemount man killed in accident
Steven Cote, a 55-year-old Rosemount resident, is dead after the pick-up truck in which he was a passenger slid off Interstate 35 Monday afternoon in northern Minnesota.
Cote and his wife, Gail, were headed north on I-35 near Kettle River, Minn. around 3:15 p.m. Monday when their 2002 Ford Ranger hit an patch of ice, left the road and rolled down an embankment into a wooded area.
Cote's wife, 52-year-old Gail Cote, was driving at the time of the accident. She was taken to Pine Medical Center in Sandstone with minor injuries.
Both Steven and Gail were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
