Are you ready for election day?

After months of political ads and awkward conversations with family members of differing views, election season is near an end. Voters go to the polls Tuesday and just so you're ready, here's what you need to know.

Minnesota voters can register on election day at the polls. To be eligible, voters must be at least 18 years old, a citizen of the United States, a resident of Minnesota for 20 days and not under court ordered guardianship.

Those registering at the polls must have one proof of residence which could include a driver's license, learner's permit or Minnesota identification card, other form of picture identification or a current utility bill such as gas, electricity, cable TV, water or solid waste.

This year there are seven polling location where Rosemount voters can cast their ballots. Polling locations for Precincts 1, 4, and 6 have changed since the 2006 election. All others are the same.

Polling locations are as follows: Precinct 1, Rosemount Community Center, 13885 S. Robert Tr.; Precinct 2, Community of Hope Lutheran Church, 14401 Biscayne Ave.; Precinct 3 Shannon Park Elementary School, 13501 Shannon Pkwy.; Precinct 4, Lighthouse Community Church, 3285 144th St. W.; Precinct 5A, Central Park Shelter, 2893 145 St. W.; Precinct 5B Jaycee Park Shelter, 15425 Shannon Pkwy.; and Precinct 6, Rosemount United Methodist Church, 14770 Canada Ave.
