Rosemount citywide cleanup day is Oct. 4
A citywide cleanup day will be held from 8 a.m. until noon Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Rosemount Public Works Facility, 14455 Brazil Ave., north of the Rosemount City Hall.
There is no charge to dispose of the following:
Computers (CPUs), monitors, and televisions
Construction and demolition debris.
Charges for other items are as follows:
Carpet and carpet pads, $2 per roll
Bicycles and exercise equipment, $2 per item
Lawn mowers, snow blowers, etc., $5 per item.
Car tires, $5 per item.
Appliances, $10 per item
Mattresses and sofas/couches, $10 per item.
Truck and tractor tires, $15 per item.
For garbage there will be a charge of $10 per five cubic-yard load (approximately the size of a pickup load) or $5 per individual item.
The city reserves the right to refuse unacceptable material such as compost and yard waste, motor oil or household hazardous waste like paints, solvents, and florescent light bulbs. There are other sites within Dakota County that will accept these items.
The event is for Rosemount residents only. A driver's license or other proof of residency will be required. This event is for household quantities of materials only.
