Huge craft show takes over Rosemount Community Center Saturday

Rosemount is home to one of the state’s largest craft fairs and on Nov. 30 it’s coming back for its 24th year. The Carousel Craft Show will take over the Rosemount Community Center.

Owner Ron Guarneri said the show will feature more than 120 vendors selling hand-made and commercial items. The show will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2.

The show will coincide with Small Business Saturday. Guarneri said all of the vendors are small business owners and shopping the craft show would be a good way to show support.

Vendors flock to the craft show from all over the Midwest. Guarneri said vendors come from Iowa, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Illinois and South Dakota. He gets local vendors as well.

The show draws more than 2,000 shoppers from all over the Twin Cities to Rosemount.

“They keep coming back because we’ve got a good thing going here,” said Guarneri.

The Carousel Craft Show has been coming to Rosemount for 24 years. Guarneri purchased the company several years back. Before that he served as vendor. Guarneri runs a furniture company called Custom Wood Cuts.
