Letter: Thanks to the Rosemount community for support
We wanted to take a moment to thank the amazing community of Rosemount, which we are grateful to be a part of.
First, we wanted to thank Rosemount High School for their display of expertise when an emergency medical lockdown needed to be executed. The administration, staff and students knew exactly what to do and we are extremely grateful for their promptness in doing so. Time was crucial in this emergency and their training paid off for more reasons than one on this day.
Second, the Rosemount First Responders were prompt, skilled and able to save a life. Know that we appreciate you and are so grateful for your heroic actions every day and especially on March 3.
Finally, for the many meals being delivered to us, to bags of groceries being bought for us, to the gas gift cards for the drives to the many medical appointments, we are thankful. Your kindness is felt deeply. We know that this life lesson has impacted our Rosemount girls basketball team more than a win or loss ever will. Our tribute from them makes us both feel extremely blessed.
We grew up in this community and have never left it because we feel it is such a special community that we are blessed to be a part of. These recent events have shown our beliefs to be true.
In closing, we encourage you all to get certified in CPR. If you are trained, be sure to get re-certified, and when you are in a public place, always know where the location of your closest AED is, because you may never know when you may need to save a life!
