Dakota County will receive single prime sealed bids for the replacement of the courtroom audio/visual (A/V) systems at the Judicial Center located at 1560 Highway 55 until 2:00 p.m. local time on November 28, 2017 at the office of Facilities Management, Dakota County Administration Center, 1590 Highway 55, Room 2500, Hastings, Minnesota, 55033 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Non-mandatory pre-bid conference and tour will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday November 10, 2017 at the site. Representatives of the Owner and Architect will be present. Note that this is a holiday, however it is the best time to access the facility.

This project includes replacement of sound system equipment in ten courtrooms.
Prevailing wages are required on this project.
Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in the Bid Document - Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each equal to 100% of the total contract amount.
Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the bid opening. It is anticipated that the Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the project on December 12, 2017 and reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. Estimated cost for this package is $150,000 - $180,000.
