DAKOTA COUNTY LEBANON HILLS REGIONAL PARK
MASTER PLAN IMPROVEMENTS CP-2 Portage Lake A-Frame

Dakota County will receive single prime sealed bids for the Portage Lake A Frame project at Lebanon Hills Regional Park including all permitting and inspection. The Design/Specification will be provided by the County on or around November 29th. The projects are located at the Dakota County Lebanon Hills Regional Park, Eagan, MN 55123. Bids will be received until 1:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, December 13th at the office of Facilities Management, Dakota County Administration Center, 1590 Highway 55, Room 2500, Hastings, Minnesota, 55033 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A Pre-bid meeting and tour will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 7th. The Meeting location will be the intersection of 120th St. W and Butwin Camp Road on the south border of Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan, Mn. Representatives of the Owner will be present.
The A-Frame project consists of erosion control, site clearing, earthwork & grading, aggregate trail, concrete footing with reinforcement, steel fabrication, steel installation, glulam fabrication, glulam installation, wood framing and carpentry, structured deck, wood timber installation, metal flashing and caps, composite roof shingles, tree removal, seeding and plantings as described within the Contract Documents. The A Frame is approximately 24' x 36', 26' high with 12/24 roof pitch and occupies the site of the former A Frame that has been demolished and removed by others. The site is on the north side of Portage Lake and access to the site is via. park maintenance road that connects to Butwin Camp Road.
Prevailing wages are required on this project.
Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in this RFB document. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidders bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total contract amount.
Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the opening bids. The Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the project on January 3, 2017 and reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding.
