The Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan School District held its annual fifth grade inventor’s fair Saturday and the creations students offered once again offered a revealing look at what’s on the mind of today’s elementary school students: taking care of pets, doing chores and keeping their stuff organized.
Students showcased their inventions in the cafeterias at Dakota Hills Middle School and Eagan High School.
Close to 300 District 196 fourth and fifth graders got up early Saturday morning to show off the fruits of their inventive minds.
The annual District 196 Inventors’ Fair, sponsored by the district’s gifted and talented programs, is a chance for students to research and find solutions to problems they notice in their everyday lives.
