Family Fun Shoot: Kids can take aim at a good time
Rosemount area youngsters can learn to shoot a gun, climb a rock wall, fish with a bow or call ducks at the ninth annual Family Fun Shoot being held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Dakota County Gun Club.

Shamrock Film Festival looking for film makers
Beth Adams thinks there's a lot of untapped film making talent in the area. With the second annual Shamrock Film Festival deadline quickly approaching she’s hoping some of that talent will enter the contest.
The deadline for the short film festival will be June 30.

A citywide clean up day will be held Saturday, May 16, from 8 a.m. until noon at Dakota County Technical College, 1300 145th St. East in the west parking lot. The lineup will begin at the UMore research facility and extend north along Akron Avenue. Drivers should enter off Highway 3 or Blaine Avenue onto 160th Street for easier line up.
