This weekend will start with a lot of walking for many Rosemount residents. The Relay for Life fund raiser for the America Cancer Society kicks things off Friday night, and the weekend continues with puppet shows, an appearance by Bruce the Bug Guy and more.
Rosemount High School will pay tribute Friday to those who contribute and will raise money to update its performing arts center. But that's just one of many activities going on this weekend. Look here to find something to do.
Bargain hunters should have a field day at this weekend's Rosemount community garage sales. But if sales aren't your thing, Rosemount also is offering a full day's worth of meals served up as fund raisers and a chance for kids to practice their reading skills by reading with trained therapy dogs.
St. Joseph’s youth mission trip will sponsor a plant and flower sale from 9 a.m. to noon and after Sunday masses April 24. There will be hanging baskets, flats and patio pots. There will also plant gift cards to Fluegel’s and Gertens. The youth group will travel to Mon Valley, Penn. in July.
