Brown a Hobey Baker finalist
2008 Rosemount graduate JT Brown is a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award.
The award is given annually to a college hockey player who exhibits strength of character, displays outstanding skills in all phases of the game and outstanding scholastic achievement and sportsmanship.

Irish girls hockey tops Eastview, heads to state
UpdatedOne furious period was more than enough to send the Rosemount High School girls hockey team to the state tournament. The Irish scored four goals in the second period of Wednesday night's game with Eastview and beat the Lightning 6-2 to take the section title on the ice at the Veterans Memorial Community Center in Inver Grove Heights.
