Mixing in that much inexperience isn’t usually a winning recipe in a Lake Conference dual meet. It was the final conference dual of the season for Rosemount.

Speaking this week, Rosemount wrestling coach Brett Larson was as honest as he could be.
The Irish finished a span of five dual meets in three days. They lost a close dual to Eden Prairie and then went 3-1 in four duals in Moorhead.
Larson felt things were going good.

The Irish competed in a tournament at Kenyon-Wanamingo and had a dual last week against Chaska/Chanhassen, but then had 16 days before their next competition Jan. 7 against Lakeville South.

It’s typically the first competition of the season for the Irish. With top-notch teams at the meet, it can provide the wrestlers and coaches a glimpse into what is needed for improvement as the season wears on.
