Visitation, funeral set for shooting victim

Funeral services have been set for Anthony Hartman, the 22-year-old Rosemount High School graduate who was killed Monday in Rosemount. There will be a visitation for Hartman from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 18 at White Funeral Home in Apple Valley and for one hour prior to the funeral. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. July 19 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 13900 Biscayne Ave. Hartman will be interred in the church cemetery.

Program offers help cutting power bills PressPass

The CAP Agency, in partnership with four local utilities, is seeking clients for the Conservation Improvement Program. The program, which is primarily administered during the summer months, is funded by the clients’ utility providers. The goal of the program is to reduce energy consumption, thereby reducing energy bills.

Dakota County Technical College auto body collision technology students Bob Vovk, Rob Clark and Mike Albers were bronze medalists at the SkillsUSA Championships, which were held June 20-25 in Kansas City, Mo. during the 46th Annual National Leadership and Skills Conference. The SkillsUSA Championships spotlighted the brainpower and expertise wielded by the top technical and career students in the U.S.
