Meat and beer attract men to home parties Nick Karels was searching Craigslist when something called Man Cave caught his eye. So he clicked on it to find out what it was all about. Man Cave, Karels learned, is a fairly new company that started in Minnesota for enterprising young men. Representatives for the company demonstrate and sell products specifically for men, such as meats and grilling accessories through in home parties. It’s a lot like Pampered Chef but with beer and dirty jokes.

Rosemount businesses reach out PressPass

Like many people Don Sinnwell wants to help soldiers and their families. But as a former soldier, he also wants to make sure he’s helping in a practical way. So the Rosemount businessman developed a program to help the families of soldiers deployed overseas get a fair shake. The Yellow Ribbon Business Program asks businesses to commit to fair treatment for customers with deployed family members. By doing so they will receive a window cling that promotes them as a Yellow Ribbon Business.

An oops has turned into a big fine for one Rosemount business. MGM liquor has been fined $1,000 and will have to close its doors for five hours Christmas Eve, for selling alcohol on Thanksgiving Day.
