Phyllis Catherine Barton, age 82, of Rosemount, passed peacefully into eternal life on Dec. 28, 2009.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Ray Barton; daughters, Barbara Smith (husband Christopher) of North Platte, Neb., Rebecca Breckenridge (husband Scott) of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; son, Robert Barton (wife Jacqui) of Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate her life is planned for 11 a.m. Jan. 16 at Shepherd of The Valley Lutheran Church in Apple Valley. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Lions Clubs International Foundation, 300 West 22nd St, Oak Brook, IL 60523.
