Jeremy was born March 25, 1986 in Red Wing to Gerald & Dawn (Dubisar) Christensen. Jeremy moved from Rosemount to Lake City in 1999 and graduated from Lincoln High School in Lake City in 2004. He worked at Heat & Glo, J & B Pallet, Bronk’s Bar in Lake City, and FSS in Red Wing. Jeremy was currently employed at Treasure Island Resort & Casino as a Chef. He married Meta Lee August 5th, 2007 in Lake City. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lake City. He was a loving father, brother, son and friend. Jeremy enjoyed playing guitar and writing songs.
He is survived by a son, Micah Christensen, parents, Gerald and Dawn Christensen of Lake City; a brother, Joshua Christensen of Lake City; a sister Cassie Christensen of Lake City; maternal grandparents Bill (Joanne) Dubisar of Lakeville, MN; paternal grandparents, Jay (Pat) Christensen of Farmington, MN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, May 4, 2009 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lake City at 11:30 a.m. with Father Richard Dernek officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lake City. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. Friends may also call one hour before the services at the church.
