Rosemount business reaches plea deal for failing to report emission violations

The Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Justice charged Rosemount's Spectro Alloys with failing to report emission violations in reports filed in 2007. The company has agreed to pay a $500,000 criminal penalty and likely a $600,000 civil penalty.
