Football, Week 2: Irish defense stifles Burnsville, 38-7

By the end of Friday night's season opener at Irish Stadium, the only question was whether Rosemount would complete its first shutout since the 2009 season. The eighth-ranked (Class 5A) Irish allowed Burnsville a late touchdown, but still rolled to a 38-7 South Suburban Conference victory.
