Girls basketball: Irish fall in first round of section
From the first week of the season, Rosemount girls basketball coach Sam McDonald talked about his players’ character and perseverance. McDonald thought his team handled an admittedly tough season as well as they could have, especially in dealing with close games and important second halves. The character of the Irish was on display this week in the Class 2A, Section 3 tournament and it almost had Rosemount earning another game this season.By: Brian Hall, Rosemount Town Pages
