Gymnastics: Murgic caps off standout career at state meet

Rosemount senior gymnast Katie Murgic fell on her opening vault at last week’s Class 2A state gymnastics meet. Preparing for her second and final vault, Murgic got a simple message from Irish coach Jason Passeri. The vault would be her final event as a Rosemount gymnast. “He told me, ‘This is your last vault ever. Don’t leave anything to regret. Land on your feet,’” Murgic recalled.
