Letter: City should be careful with its spending
I read in the Jan. 24, 2008 StarTribune that Rosemount voters might be voting in April for an $8 million referendum to build the new athletic complex, put in tennis courts at Erickson Park and renovate the former St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Considering the fact that we are in a recession and that large amounts of taxpayer money is already being spent on downtown, I think these projects should be carefully considered before burdening the citizens of Rosemount with a tax increase.
