The Dakota County Board of Commissioners met on February 5, 2013 and took action with respect to the following matters:

Approvals: County Board Meeting Minutes - January 22, 2013. Applications – Abatement of penalty and interest from Carrie Maloney. Appointments – John Gamlin to Planning Commission. Grants – Agreement with MN Pollution Control Agency for EPA 319 Grant and with University of MN for nitrate reduction project.

Authorizations: Sign MN Joint Application for water/wetland impacts pertaining to spillway upgrade at Byllesby Dam. Agreements – SuccessFactors, Inc. for performance management. 2013 labor agreements with Minnesota Nurses Association and Dakota County Community Corrections Association. MN Department of Transportation and City of Burnsville for County Project (CP) 38-47. Contracts – J.S. Cates Construction, Inc. for public health exam rooms. Contract Amendments – SRF Consulting Group, Inc. for Mississippi River Regional Trail. McNamara Contracting, Inc. for CP 70-18. Joint Powers Agreements (JPA) – Empire Township for enforcement of local ordinances. Purchases – Fleet police sedans. Scheduled – Public Hearing to receive comments on Solid Waste Hauler Fee schedule.
