TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Planning Commission of the City of Rosemount will hold a Public Hearing to consider the item listed below on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 2875 145th Street West, Rosemount, Minnesota, beginning at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The Public Hearing pertains to amending the Rosemount Zoning Code to amend Section 11-4-17: WM Waste Management District.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment on the application received by SKB Environmental, Inc. for a zoning ordinance text amendment to amend Sections 11-1-4 and 11-4-17 to allow a waste facility on site and amends the type of waste allowed to be processed on site. This request would revise the City’s waste definitions similar to the waste definitions of Dakota County’s Ordinance No. 110.

Persons wishing to speak on this issue are invited to attend and be heard at this scheduled public hearing. Formal written comments will also be accepted prior to the meeting dates.
