Clayton C. Turner, Dec. 29, 1930 - Jan. 2, 2013. It is with sorrow we report the passing of Clayton C. Turner, 82, of Rosemount, Minn.
He was born Dec. 29, 1930, in Murtaugh, Idaho, the son of W.A. and Myra Turner. He attended Jerome, Idaho, schools and graduated from the University of Idaho in 1952. He married Doris J. Holland on Nov. 28, 1952. He served his country as a lieutenant in the Army from Nov. 4, 1953, to Feb. 10, 1961, in Europe.
Clayton is survived by wife, Doris of Rosemount; children, Tamara Herdman of Monterey, Calif., and Steve C. Turner of Rosemount; grandsons, Jordan S. Turner of Rosemount and Jacob S. Turner, a corporal in the Marines, Helmand Province in Afghanistan.
Clayton spent his working career in the animal health field and was highly respected for his knowledge in this area. He withstood the demands of progress and development in the animal health world. He was the last of the cowboys, always with a smile for everybody.
A memorial celebration will be held for Clayton where family and friends may gather to share memories of Clayton at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina, MN 55435 (952-924-4100.) Visitation 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Clayton's family suggests that memorials be made in his name to the National Parkinson Foundation Minnesota, 5905 Golden Valley Rd., Ste. 201, Golden Valley, MN 55422. A private interment will take place in Twin Falls, Idaho, Cemetery at the family plot.
