Webelos pack food for Feed My Starving Children
The Scouts packaged food that can feed 100 children for one year.
The Webelos Scouts of Pack 295 worked two shifts at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan during the holiday season. Cub Scout Pack 295 is made up of kindergarten through fifth grade boys from Shannon Park Elementary School.
The Scouts packaged food that can feed 100 children for one year. The packaged meals were scheduled to be shipped to children in Haiti. The Scouts really enjoyed their time and provided a great service for hungry less fortunate children in the world. According to the Pack Cubmaster, Curtis Henry, “The members of Cub Scout Pack 295 are focused on teaching our young Scouts the 12 key values of Scouting. This event allowed us to help the boys work on being good world citizens and having compassion for those that are less fortunate in our world.”
The Pack is planning several events in 2013 to help local charities and organizations.
