Two dance numbers, a performance by a live band and a student dressed like a banana and singing Jingle Bells were among the highlights of Rosemount High School's traditional pre-holiday break pep fest.

The event included a performance by Twin Cities band West of Aldean, which sold merchandise afterward and donated part of the proceeds to RHS arts programs. Students also had a chance to take a half-court basketball shot to win a share of a cash pot.

The event closed with a glow-in-the-dark performance by the Irish drumline.
