Rotary Student of the Month for November
Meghan Shuster is the Rosemount Rotary Student of the Month for November
The Rotary Club of Rosemount has recognized Rosemount High School senior Meghan Shuster as its November 2012 Student of the Month.
Meghan is the daughter of Steven and Susanne Schuster of Rosemount. She is an A Honor Roll student who is also a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Group of Active Teens. She is also a letter winner and team captain in volleyball, basketball and softball, as well as a vocalist in a number of choral groups at Rosemount High School.
When Meghan is not in school, she helps run youth sports clinics, attends Shepard of the Valley and volunteers at activities including Feed My Starving Children, blood drives, Special Olympics and Race for the Cure.
Due to her outstanding academic and personal reputation, Meghan was the recipient of the Minnesota State High School League’s ExCEL Award last year. The award is given to high school juniors who are active in fine arts and/or athletic activities, show leadership qualities and are model citizens in their community.
After graduation, Meghan intends to attend University of Wisconsin LaCrosse, University of Wisconsin Madison, University of Iowa or the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
