The Dakota County Board of Commissioners met on November 20, 2012 and took action with respect to the following matters:

Approvals: County Board Meeting Minutes – November 6, 2012. Adopted – 2013 Legislative Program recommendations. Grants - Accept National Scenic Byway grant for Mississippi River Regional Trail (MRRT) and amend budget. Acquisition Opportunity Fund agreement and record agreement and restricted covenant on former Joseph property. Contract with MN Department of Public Safety for Emergency Management Performance Grant. Plans – Whitetail Woods Regional Park phase I site development and architectural concepts. Plats – Kwik Trip 406, City of Apple Valley. Policies – Emergency assistance and emergency general assistance and rescind Resolution No. 11-513. Property – Review Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Plan No. 7 in City of Burnsville TIF District No. 15 in City of Apple Valley. Acquire Andrews Property within Lebanon Hills Regional Park. Public Hearing – 2013-2017 Capital Improvement Program.

Authorizations: Release appraisal information to landowners. Waive public hearing and publish intent to amend Ordinance No. 118. Agreements – Mutual aid with Twin Cities Public Health and Environmental Health Entities. 2013 Labor Agreement with AFSCME Council Local 5. Joint funding agreement with United States Geological Survey for river gages at Byllesby Dam. Contracts – Messerli & Kramer for State Legislative services. Emergency cash assistance services. Kimley-Horn and Associates for MRRT. Allina Medical Clinic for medical services for jail inmates. Joint Powers Agreements (JPA) – Olmsted, St. Louis and Washington Counties for residential opinion survey. City of Lakeville for County Project 9-42. Various cities for wetland health evaluation program. Memorandum of Understanding – University of Minnesota for local Extension programming. Requests – Solicit proposals for hazardous waste and recycling services facility. Metropolitan Council eligibility for reimbursement of funding within Parks Capital Improvement Program.
