Jack Anthony Spadafore, 18, of Rosemount has earned the highest advancement award the Boy Scouts of America offers to scouts, the Eagle Scout Award.
Jack was recognized in ceremonies on Nov. 4th, 2012 and is a member of Boy Scout Troop 345 in Eagan.
Jack is one of approximately 4 percent of all Boy Scouts who attain the Eagle rank, according to Scoutmaster Tristan Kusnierek. Each candidate must earn 21 merit badges and successfully organize, manage and complete an approved community or church related project. Jack’s project involved classification, mapping and identification of buildings located in the Dakota City Heritage Village at the Dakota County Fairgrounds in Farmington.
Jack is a member of St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church in Eagan and is also a member of the Ultimate Frisbee team at Rosemount High School.
Jack is a senior and attends both Rosemount High School and the School of Environmental Studies. He is the son of Jim and Peggy Spadafore and brother to Marty who received his Eagle award in 2009.
