The Dakota County Board of Commissioners met on November 6, 2012 and took action with respect to the following matters:
Approvals: County Board Meeting Minutes – October 23, 2012. Affordable Care Act and Early Retirees Reinsurance program rebates. Appointments – Dakota-Scott Workforce Investment Board representing Private sector. Plats – Thomas Addition, City of South St. Paul. Property – Conveyance of tax forfeited parcels to City of Farmington and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. Public Hearing – Approval of tax-forfeited parcels as conservation or nonconservation. Settlement - Parcels 17 and 18 (365) (County Project 5-41).
Authorizations: Community Development Agency – Ratification of funding requests to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Contracts – Sand Creek Group for employee assistance program. Contracts Amendments – Minnesota Consulting Services for professional services for Criminal Justice Information Integration Network (CJIIN) and amend 2012 CJIIN budget. Lease Agreements – Amend Dakota Communications Center lease for office space. Ratified – Contract with WSB & Associates, Inc. for engineering services. Scheduled – County Board workshop to discuss governing principles.
The next regular Dakota County Board meeting will be held November 20, 2012, at 9:00 a.m.
