Notice is hereby given of an opportunity for public comment on the proposed substantial amendments to the Dakota County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for Federal Fiscal Year 2010.

Proposed Substantial Amendments

The CDA 2010 Action Plan shall be amended to:

•Cancel the Lakeville Public Facility - Senior Center Rehab activity with a balance of $60,000.00.

•Create the Lakeville Public Facilities Accessibility Planning activity with an original budget of $15,000.00 for the purpose of developing an analysis of ADA compliant needs in public facilities.

•Create the Lakeville Accessibility Public Improvements activity with an original budget of $30,000.00 to design and implement ADA compliant improvements in public facilities.

•Create the Lakeville Senior Transportation Public Service activity with an original budget of $15,000.00.

Public comments may be submitted orally or in writing to the CDA through December 29, 2012. Approval of the amendment, subject to consideration of public comments, will be on the agenda of the Dakota County Board of Commissioners meeting to be held at the Dakota County Government Center, third floor, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings, MN 55033 on January 8, 2013 at 9:00a.m.
