The Rotary Club of Rosemount is pleased to announce the return of its Student of the Month program for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Kicking things off is the October Student of the Month and Rosemount High School senior, Paul Wollersheim.

Paul is the youngest of four children belonging to John and Mary Wollersheim of Rosemount. He is “A” Honor Roll student and was recently named a National Merit semifinalist, which means he ranks among the top one percent of high school seniors nationwide and is eligible to compete for the more than 8,300 merit scholarships that will be awarded next spring. He is also a member of the National Honor Society, French National Honor Society, Tri-M Honor Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Paul has taken part in football, track and field, and basketball, but says he loves singing most. He is involved in Concert Choir and has participated in Vivace, Men’s Ensemble, Chamber Choir and the Onstage production.

Outside of school, Paul has been a volunteer at Feed My Starving Children and is involved with activities at Hosanna! Lutheran Church. He has also volunteered at the Edina Care and Rehab Center, St. Joseph’s Church, RAAA football camps and the RHS Freshman Retreat.
