PUBLIC NOTICE

Public Information Meeting Regarding Jurisdictional Transfers In Castle Rock Township

Notice is hereby given that the Dakota County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 6:30 pm on Tuesday October 30, 2012, at Castle Rock Town Hall, 2537 240th Street West, Farmington, MN 55024, for the purpose of receiving comments on the proposed jurisdictional transfers of County Road 51, County Road 53N, County State Aid Highway 80, Denmark Avenue, and 240th Street in Castle Rock Township.

The locations of the proposed transfers from County jurisdiction to Township jurisdiction are:

County Road 51 (Biscayne Avenue) from 280th Street West to 260th Street West

County Road 53N (Alverno Avenue) from 260th Street West to 250th Street West

County State Aid Highway 80:

o Biscayne Avenue from 255th Street West to 250th Street West

o 250th Street West from Biscayne Avenue to Alverno Avenue

o Alverno Avenue from 250th Street West to 245th Street West

The locations of the proposed transfers from Township jurisdiction to County jurisdiction are:

Denmark Avenue from 240th Street West to 235th Street West

240th Street West from Denmark Avenue to Chippendale Avenue

Agencies, groups, or persons attending the public hearing shall have the right to provide written or oral comments.
