St. Joseph Church holds animal blessing

Despite a windy day with temperatures in the 30s a large crowd turned out for St. Joseph Catholic Church's second annual blessing of the animals. The animals didn't always cooperate. This one put a paw up and spilled the holy water.

Despite temperatures in the 30s and a biting wind that made it feel even colder, a large crowd showed up Saturday for St. Joseph Church's second annual blessing of the animals.
People brought dogs, cats, rabbits, even horses and other farm animals to be blessed at the event held in honor of St. Francis of Assisi.
