The Dakota County Board of Commissioners met on August 28, 2012 and took action with respect to the following matters:

Approvals: County Board Meeting Minutes - August 14, 2012. Carried Over budget spending authority from 2011 to 2012. Grant - Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MN for Active Living program. Lease - State of MN for Workforce Center resources at Northern Service Center. License - 1-4 Day Temporary On-Sale Liquor for Rotary Club of Farmington. Plan - Direction on Lebanon Hills Regional Park Master Plan. Plat - Cobblestone Lake Commercial 4th Addition, Apple Valley. Proclamation - September 10-14, 2012 - Annual Giving Week in Dakota County. Settlements - Parcel 37 (365): County Project (CP) 5-41. Parcel 123 (324): CP 23-59.

Authorizations: Agreements - MN Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) and City of Burnsville for traffic signals on CP 5-41. Mn/DOT for CP 97-126, Trunk Highway 13 Corridor Study Update. Contracts - PreferredOne to provide County’s 2013 medical plan. Delta Dental to provide County’s 2013 dental plan. Hollstadt and Assoc. for Enterprise Resource Planning services. Joint Powers Agreements – City of Inver Grove Heights for Mississippi River Regional Trail construction. Ratified - Delta Airlines special dislocated worker program needs. Scheduled Public Hearings for 9:00 a.m., County Administration Boardroom, Hastings - September 11, 2012, Dakota County Ordinance No. 132/County Storm Drain System. November 6, 2012, Classification of 2012 Tax-Forfeited Properties as Conservation or Non-Conservation.

Information Items: Reports - Invoices Paid in July 2012. The next regular Dakota County Board meeting will be held September 11, 2012, at 9 a.m.
