Approvals: County Board Meeting Minutes - July 31, 2012. Grants - MN Department of Natural Resources (DNR) 2013 Outdoor Heritage funds. DNR for Byllesby Dam spillway safety upgrade. Property - Funding to complete Heinrich conservation easement donation. Reappointment - Dakota County Assessor William Peterson. Settlement - Parcel 50 (365): County Project (CP) 5-41.

Authorizations: Amendment - Transportation Budget for CP 14-25, South St. Paul. Closed Executive Session - Discuss Labor Negotiations Strategy. Community Development Agency - Community Development Block Grant Program amendment. Contracts - A & J Electric Corp. for Government Center site lighting. Fitzgerald Excavating and Trucking, Inc. for CP 97-18, Castle Rock Township. Lease Agreement - Burnwood, LLC for CP 5-41, Burnsville. Purchase - Front end loader with attachments. Request - State legislative support for 2012 flooding disaster aid.

Information Items: Audience Appearance - Richard Bond, Hastings, for concerns on County Roads 46 and 47 in Hastings. Presentation - 100 Best Fleets Award. Reports - Lower MN River Watershed District Governance Study Update. Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant Exercise Update. The next regular Dakota County Board meeting will be held August 28, 2012, at 9 a.m.
