TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Planning Commission of the City of Rosemount will hold a Public Hearing to consider the item listed below on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 2875 145th Street West, Rosemount, Minnesota, and beginning at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The Public Hearing pertains to property owned by Thomas and Beverly Logelin, located at 12845 Bengal Avenue West, Rosemount, legally described as follows:

That part of Lot 3, Block 1, JAY SIMON’S FIRST ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, on file in the County Recorders office, Dakota County, Minnesota, described as follows:

Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot 3; thence South 89 degrees 29 minutes 00 seconds West (assumed bearing) along the south line of said Lot 3, a distance of 147.48 feet to the southwest corner of said Lot 3; thence North 0 degrees 29 minutes 59 seconds West along the west line of said Lot 3, a distance of 18.52 feet; thence South 83 degrees 21 minutes 29 seconds East 148.63 feet to the point of beginning.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment on the application submitted by Thomas and Beverly Logelin for a lot split and combination. The Logelins intend to purchase approximately 18.5’ from their northern neighbor (Timothy Jerin) and combine it with their property. This lot split and combination will transfer to the Logelins a section of property containing a retaining wall that was originally built across their common property line with Mr. Jerin.

Persons wishing to speak on this issue are invited to attend and be heard at this scheduled public hearing. Formal written comments will also be accepted prior to the meeting dates.
