The Dakota County Board of Commissioners met on July 10, 2012 and took action with respect to the following matters:

Approvals: County Board Meeting Minutes - June 19, 2012. Appointments - Dakota-Scott Workforce Investment Board members. Licenses - 1-4 Day Temporary On-Sale Liquor - Dakota City Heritage Village, Inc. and Dakota County Agricultural Society, Inc. Assemblage of Large Numbers of People - Little Log House Properties, Inc. Plat - Greystone 1st Addition, Rosemount. Property Acquisition - Initiate "quick take" condemnation of right of way on County Project (CP) 79-04, Castle Rock Township. Furlong Property adjacent to Spring Lake Park Reserve. Resignation - Human Services Advisory Committee member.

Authorizations: Agreement - Law Enforcement Labor Services Licensed Deputies Unit for 2011. Closed Executive Session - County Administrator’s mid-year performance evaluation. Contracts - CIBER, Inc. for county attorney case management system upgrade. Viet & Company, Inc. for Mississippi River Regional Trail Pine Bend Segment, Inver Grove Heights. Ayres Associates for Byllesby Dam spillway modifications. Intermediate School District 917 for school resource officer services. Joint Powers Agreement - City of Eagan for design services on CP 31-76, County State Aid Highway 31 Corridor Study. Purchase - Fuel from State of MN Fuel Consortium Program. Request - Property tax abatements to finance construction of indoor sports facility, West St. Paul.
