The Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design has announced the election of a Hampton resident, who will serve for the next year:
Lisa Hanni, Hampton, has been elected to serve as board chair.
Carl Peterson, Rosemount, has been elected to serve as vice chair.
Hanni is the county surveyor, recorder, and director of land use management in Goodhue County, and the county surveyor for Dodge County. She has been a member of the board for five years, appointed by Governor Pawlenty in 2007. She has served as the bard’s vice chair, and is on the ELSGEO and credentialing committees. Hanni has been a licensed land surveyor in Minnesota since 1994 and is the first female county surveyor in Minnesota.
Peterson, certified public accountant, has been a member of the board for three years, appointed by Governor Pawlenty. He has served as board secretary and currently serves on the credentialing and ALACID committees of the board. Peterson is a partner in the Peterson, Peterson Certified Public Accounting firm in Rosemount.
