Rosemount man killed in single-motorcycle crash

A 58-year-old Rosemount man was killed shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday when his motorcycle ran off the road near the intersection of Highway 3 and 160th Street.

A 58-year-old Rosemount man was killed shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday when his motorcycle ran off the road near the intersection of Highway 3 and 160th Street.

According to information from the Minnesota State Patrol, James J. Schillinger was driving on Highway 3 when his 2008 Honda motorcycle left the road. Schillinger, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police found evidence of alcohol in Schillinger's system.
